“You are a terrific teacher and motivator”

“Thank you so much for the beautiful photograph of my son. You are an amazing photographer! I also want to thank you for inspiring my son so much. I have to say that I never thought my son would love art as much as he does. You are a terrific teacher and motivator.”

“you continue to amaze us all with your vision, commitment, positive attitude”

“‘Oh my word!’ You did it . . . again! Every year, you continue to amaze us all with your vision, commitment, positive attitude, and, most importantly, your faith in our talented students. My daughter had an absolute blast in her role in the School Play, and I know the one thing she will miss when she moves on to high school next year is the fantastic experience she had being a part of the Dramatic Production. Thank you for providing her with such a fun opportunity.”

“Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all you do, and have done, for our son”

“We would like to thank you for the fantastic Christmas Concert yesterday. We are always so moved by the amount of work and dedication that all the teachers, staff, and parents put into these productions. This has certainly been the case each and every year that our son has been part of the Glenburnie concerts – they are second to none! Due to your decision in choosing our son for such an important role, you have provided him with greater confidence in the area of the performing arts, and for that alone, we are very appreciative. As his parents, we have been very aware of his keen interest in sports, but seeing him shine on stage last night has provided us with even greater insight into his varied capabilities. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all you do, and have done, for our son.”

“Clearly you have found a way to connect with their young minds, to trigger creativity and imagination”

“I thought that I would share something with you that happened while driving my son to school this week. We usually talk in the car but we will also sometimes listen to a radio station or music. As we drove along, I was searching for an radio station that would be appropriate for my six year old. As I passed Classical 96.3 there was a lively classical song playing. I was about to change to the next channel, thinking that my son would prefer vocals, when he said to “stop.” He immediately declared that he knew what was on the radio. I’d like to think that I can recognize some classical music, but I had no clue what I was listening to. I asked him what it was, and he said “Peter and the Wolf.” He told me that you played it for them in music class about four weeks ago. He then proceeded to narrate the story from that point in the song to the end. I must admit that I was still a little skeptical, but after the next song the announcer confirmed that we had been listening to Sergei Prokoveiv’s “Peter and the Wolf.” My son explained that he couldn’t remember the author (composer) but when he heard the name he remembered that you told them that too. I hope that my son grows up to have an appreciation for all music. As a father I have to admit to many proud parenting moments so far but this is one that I certainly won’t forget. When I told my wife, she reacted with equal amounts of excitement and pride. I would like to take this opportunity to say “Thank you” very much for teaching our son (and the other students) that lesson. Clearly you have found a way to connect with their young minds, to trigger creativity and imagination, while they listen to and learn about music.”
