I originally planned to start her off in Grade 1, but I am so pleased with all the strategies for learning that my son is exposed to that I want to get my daughter out of Montessori preschool and into Glenburnie as soon as possible. “

I knew it was going to be a good school year when, in the first week of school, my shy son began asking if he could take his teacher an apple every day…..and he would reject each apple I gave him until it was red enough and shiny enough to be acceptable to give to his teacher. Time and time again, she has gone out of her way to let us know how our son is doing, always with words of encouragement and praise that has increased our son’s confidence. She supports her students both in class and in their interests outside of school. The personal touch she has added to every aspect of her job with our son and all his classmates has simply been phenomenal. She is truly that special teacher one can look back on in adulthood as having “made a difference” that every child deserves at least once. Thank you for continuing to hire such wonderful teachers who make such a difference in our children’s lives. It is what makes Glenburnie shine above all the other schools! “

“I think the Acts of Kindness program is a great way to motivate our children. Even though they all have good hearts and want to be nice to others, they are often too shy to take the steps to actually do nice things for the people around them. I would like to share an act of kindness that my daughter did for me since you began this program. I was not feeling well and was resting on the sofa after dinner. My daughter ran upstairs to retrieve her favourite blanket and quietly put it on me, trying not to wake me. I was very touched. Thank you for your efforts to bring out the goodness in our children.”
