“I wanted to send a quick email with regards to my daughter’s Pre-Kindergarten teacher. We are happy that our daughter has developed both on an academic and emotional level this year. She just loves going to school each day to see her friends but in particular, to see her teacher. When asked who loves her, her teacher always makes the list! I just wanted to let you know that we are very appreciative of all of the care, effort, and kindness that the teacher has shown our daughter.”

“I am thrilled with my choice to send my children to Glenburnie.”
“I’m sending a note to express that I am thrilled with my choice to send my children to Glenburnie. My son is in Grade 1 and he is adjusting well. My four year old daughter is on the wait list for SK. I originally planned to start her off in Grade 1, but I am so pleased with all the strategies for learning that my son is exposed to that I want to get my daughter out of Montessori preschool and into Glenburnie as soon as possible. “
“Thank you for continuing to hire such wonderful teachers who make such a difference in our children’s lives.”
“Our son’s Grade 3 teacher not only is always smiling and making parents feel comfortable, but has an amazing way of making each child in her class feel special. I knew it was going to be a good school year when, in the first week of school, my shy son began asking if he could take his teacher an apple every day…..and he would reject each apple I gave him until it was red enough and shiny enough to be acceptable to give to his teacher. Time and time again, she has gone out of her way to let us know how our son is doing, always with words of encouragement and praise that has increased our son’s confidence. She supports her students both in class and in their interests outside of school. The personal touch she has added to every aspect of her job with our son and all his classmates has simply been phenomenal. She is truly that special teacher one can look back on in adulthood as having “made a difference” that every child deserves at least once. Thank you for continuing to hire such wonderful teachers who make such a difference in our children’s lives. It is what makes Glenburnie shine above all the other schools! “
“I think that our son is responding very well to his teacher’s enthusiastic, encouraging, fun but firm personality.”
“I wanted to say how pleased we are with our son’s Grade 2 teacher. I believe that she is a wonderful addition to the excellent Glenburnie staff. Our son has had a remarkable first week at school. He is highly motivated, excited to get to school each day, and reported the best thing that happened to him yesterday was his Phonics class! He has enjoyed introducing one of the new students to the routines and to his friends at school. I think that our son is responding very well to his teacher’s enthusiastic, encouraging, fun but firm personality.”
“You will be that teacher that they will never forget.”
“On this last day of school for my children at Glenburnie, I wanted to take a moment to thank you. You have been the single most memorable and impactful element of both our children’s stay and education at Glenburnie. I believe that most people remember one special teacher from their early years (I know I do), and for both of my children, you will be that teacher that they will never forget. “
“I was very impressed by your carpe momentum approach to discussing his future potential and sharing your unique, valuable vision with me.”
“Rarely, have I encountered such learned passion and vision for the 360 degree education of our children. My son is truly fortunate to be attending your school and experience the life skills being taught that few in their working lives have the privilege of experiencing. Needless to say, I was very impressed by your carpe momentum approach to discussing his future potential and sharing your unique, valuable vision with me.”
“I have to say that I really enjoyed looking through this piece of work with my daughter. Thanks again.”
“I just wanted to say thank you for the lovely piece of work you had the class do on themselves, their family, and friends. It was really very, very sweet and I have to say that I really enjoyed looking through this piece of work with my daughter. Thanks again.”
“Your kindness will have a lasting impact.”
“Thank you for checking on my daughter today. She was very sad, but when I heard that she had talked to you, I was encouraged. She adores you and I’m glad she could come to you. It’s nice that she feels safe. Thank you for everything you are doing for our children. Your kindness will have a lasting impact.”
“Thank you so much for your email about our son. It is really so nice to hear such positive feedback!”
“Thank you so much for your email about our son. It is really so nice to hear such positive feedback! He was thrilled that you sent such a nice note, too! He loves ‘Mathletics’ – what a great learning tool! He plays it for about an hour each night and it is obviously helping.”
“I think it’s a fantastic idea and allows the children to be creative and avoid materialism at the same time.”
“I wanted to compliment you on the idea of giving homemade gifts for this year’s Secret Santa activity. I think it’s a fantastic idea and allows the children to be creative and avoid materialism at the same time. I think they experience more enjoyment from their creation, than they would with a purchased item. I also liked your idea of a Scholastic gift certificate to encourage reading.”
“Thank you for your efforts to bring out the goodness in our children.”
“I think the Acts of Kindness program is a great way to motivate our children. Even though they all have good hearts and want to be nice to others, they are often too shy to take the steps to actually do nice things for the people around them. I would like to share an act of kindness that my daughter did for me since you began this program. I was not feeling well and was resting on the sofa after dinner. My daughter ran upstairs to retrieve her favourite blanket and quietly put it on me, trying not to wake me. I was very touched. Thank you for your efforts to bring out the goodness in our children.”
