Great Summer Camps for Kids

The summer months present an opportunity for students to continue learning in a fun, theme-based environment at our Glenburnie Summer Camps.

Offered for one, two, three or four weeks, our academic, vacation and musical Theatre summer camps provide students of various ages the chance to continue interacting with school friends over the summer months in a fun-filled, familiar environment.

Academic Camp

The Glenburnie academic summer camp features hands-on learning, experimentation, and problem-solving challenges relating to language arts, mathematics and other curriculum-based subjects. While campers are continuing to learn, the main focus is on having fun and building friendships with other students.

Vacation Camp

The Glenburnie vacation camp is all about exploring creativity. Theme-based games, arts and crafts, drama, music and movement, sports, water play, and dress up, keep campers engaged and entertained all week long.

Musical Theatre Camp

Designed for children in Kindergarten to Grade 4, our Musical Theatre camp offers campers a variety of theatre training techniques in the areas of singing, dancing, and acting. The week will be celebrated with a culminating performance showcasing the campers’ talents. Parents are welcome to attend and take pictures!

French Camp

Join us at Glenburnie this Summer as we enjoy everything French!  This exciting new camp will give your child the opportunity to practise and improve their French language skills through hands-on weekly themed related activities, songs, dramatic play, technology, games and friendly conversation.  Topics will include everything from the weather, common phrases, greetings and vocabulary.

Sports Camp

Each morning, campers will focus on developing their skills, tactics, and game play in a variety indoor and outdoor sports. Our focus will be to teach the fundamental rules of each sport along with fostering strong sportsmanship and teamwork.

Coding & Maker Camp

This camp will blend programming with making. Each week we will explore programming on the computer to make simple commands and games as well as programming to control robots. We will also use “Makey Makey” and “Microbits to brainstorm, design, test, and build our own projects. Campers will be able to keep their “Microbit” projects.
